Frequently asked questions about our webinars...and our answers!

1. What is a webinar?

   Picture an auditorium filled with people and a speaker on stage demonstrating something. A webinar is basically an online version of this. You're the guest, we're the presenter and the Internet is the auditorium! You can watch the presentation right on your computer or mobile device. All you need is an Internet connection and you're good to go! Plus, since you're just watching and no one else can see you, you don't have to get all dressed up for the event! Everyone in attendance will only see what we show on our computer screen, which is usually us working with Photobacks in Photoshop. Furthermore, you do not need a microphone or a webcam, as our presenter will be the only one who can be heard. If you have question during the webinar, you can type it in...we'll see it and most likely answer your question live!

2. How do I join a webinar?

   To join a webinar, click a "Register Now" button above. You'll then be taken to the registration page for that particular webinar. Enter your information and a confirmation email will be sent to you. That email will include your direct link to join the webinar on the day of the event at the time posted. When it starts, you'll be able to see our screen online as we work in Photoshop using Photobacks, and you'll be able to hear us as we explain what we're doing, as noted above.

3. Is it really FREE to attend your webinars?

   Yes, indeed! We provide this extended live training as a free service to our customers to continue their education of the product, as well as for those who are new to Photobacks or those who are just thinking about buying for the first time.

4. Can I watch your webinars on an iPad, iPod, iPhone or Android mobile device?

   Yes, yes, yes and yes! All you need is the "GoToMeeting" app installed on your device, either from the iTunes store for Apple devices or the Google Play store for Android devices. Before the webinar starts, simply start the app. Where it says "Meeting ID" enter the Webinar ID code in the email you received from us after registering above. If you can't find the email, simply come back to this page and register again.

5. Do I need to have Photoshop open during the webinar or work alongside?

   Not necessarily. And, it may be hard to work in Photoshop and watch the webinar at the same time. We jam so much into our webinars, it's probably best to just watch the presentation and take some notes. If you then have questions or miss anything, you can let us know and we can go over it again.

6. What topics do you cover in your webinars and do you take requests?

   We cover a number of topics in our webinars. In the past, topics have included ways to increase your Photobacks workflow, how to build and print a photo book, how to work with layer masks in Photoshop and much more! Where you register above, we also include the session topics for that particular date. And, while some topics repeat, such as "Working with the Premium Package," we always try to come up with new sample projects to learn from. And, yes, we definitely take requests! If you've got a topic you'd like to see us cover in a webinar, please let us know!

7. Are your webinars for beginners or advanced users of Photoshop?

   They're really for everyone, no matter the skill level. This is because of two main reasons: 1) we're continuously sharing new, unique ways to work with our products, so whether you know everything about Photoshop or nothing at all, you'll most likely pick up some new, creative ways to use Photoshop and our products, and 2) we're here to help, so should you have any questions after the webinar, if you missed something or don't understand a particular technique, just let us know and Customer Support will help you out!

8. Do I need any specific products or files from Photobacks to learn from the webinar?

   No, not necessarily. Even if we cover Photobacks products that you don't have yet, you can still learn from our techniques in Photoshop and learn more about the other products. Many users tell us they like to have the product on their computer before the webinar starts so they can get comfortable with it ahead of time, and use it right away after the webinar, but it's not necessary.

9. Are your webinars recorded? Can I watch past webinars?

   Yes, the webinars are recorded so you can benefit from them over and over and again! In order to view our past webinars, see Backstage and grab a year long pass!
