The Photobacks template collections have so much to work with for an incredible price. I was impressed with the individual "trendy" layouts and high-end "fashion" pages. My intent is to use them with my own motifs and designs to give my clients a more "commercial" and diverse selection of layouts. The Photobacks layout elements are easily modifiable to create many coordinated pages. With Photobacks I can give each client a slightly different variation that makes them feel they are getting a unique, custom album. I use Photobacks in conjunction with Photoshop and plug-ins, such as Nik SilverEfx and some of the Topaz Labs plug-ins. I generally work with photography by an event photographer or images and vintage snapshots supplied by my client. I have more advanced Photoshop skills and combine the Photobacks templates with my own motifs and backgrounds. Photobacks has saved me an enormous amount of time! I didn't have to spend hours painting grungy background pages or finding barn wood or rusty table tops. Even if you are a photographer who is still a little shakey in Photoshop, you will learn a lot just by working with the Photobacks templates and understanding how layer modes, masks and actions work. At the beginning, you really only need one skill: Hue/Saturation. And the move and transform tools might give you more variety if, for example, the layout is for two images -- you could add a third image by duplicating, resizing and moving copies of the source frame. The rest you will pick up as you go along. The Photobacks templates are very easy to work with for a photographer who doesn't have the time to spend hours tweaking in Photoshop, or the skilled designer who needs to quickly put together a haute couture album presentation for a picky bride.

I recently received the Photobacks Advantage package that I ordered and I couldn't be any happier with the purchase than I am now right now. Before purchasing, I had plenty of questions for your support folks and they answered every question immediately! I figured if the software was half as good as the support, it would certainly be worth the money and boy was I right! The software and the results are Amazing! My photography was immediately elevated to another level. The tutorials alone are worth the money. I learned things that I had wasted a lot of time searching the web trying to find easy "how to" lessons to learn from. I would certainly recommend your product, just not to my competitors (lol). Normally I prefer to learn software using a For Dummies book, but with Photoshop it just wasn't clicking like it should have. I've learned more in the time it took me to watch 7 of your short tutorials than all the hours I spent with my For Dummies book trying to learn Photoshop Elements 6! First of all I'd like to thank you for that very informative reply you sent me a month back about different options for working your digital backgrounds and frames. Just received my Photoshop Elements 7 Tuesday and I'm having a great time working with the frames and the vast amount of pictures of the grandchilden. I've been following your video tutorials ALMOST to the letter with great results. Even though Photoshop Elements 7 isn't the top of the line program, between that and my GIMP program I can do anything I want to, so far!
